Student Polling

 

·         This week’s polling question asks students their opinion on tax cut policy.

·         In a recent poll, we asked MPSL students if Congress should vote to extend unemployment benefits. The result: about 78% of the students said yes; about 20% said no; while about 3% said they're not sure. In a similar nation-wide poll by Bloomberg Poll, 47% of Americans said they are in favor of Congress extending unemployment benefits; 49% said they oppose; while 4% said they're unsure.

Student Polling

 

·         This week’s polling question asks students their opinion on unemployment benefits.

·         In a recent poll, we asked MPSL students if they approve or disapprove of President Obama's decision to fire Gen. McChrystal. The result: about 47% of the students said they approve of the decision; 16% said they disapprove; while about 37% said they're not sure. In a similar nation-wide poll USA Today/Gallup Poll, 53% of Americans said they approve of President Obama's decision to remove Gen. McChrystal as commander of US forces in Afghanistan; 30% said they disapprove; while 17% said they're unsure.
